Resumen
El modelo de mono Macaca nemestrina replica efectivamente el virus de la inmunodeficiencia humana tipo 1 (VIH-1). Esta susceptibilidad lo convierte en una herramienta valiosa para estudiar la infección por el VIH-1, la patogénesis y el desarrollo de nuevos tratamientos.

Sus antecedentes:
