Principales métodos:

  • La resonancia magnética funcional (fMRI) se utilizó para estudiar la actividad cerebral.
  • Los monos observaron acciones, incluido el agarre de manos y formas de objetos.

Principales resultados:

  • Observación de las acciones de agarre activadas rostral F5, áreas 45B, 45A y 46.
  • Caudal F5 respondió a las acciones de agarre, lo que sugiere diferentes niveles de abstracción de la acción.
  • El área 45 respondió a las formas, pero no al premotor F5, lo que indica un procesamiento distinto.

Conclusiones:
