Resumen
El virus de la hepatitis C (VHC) puede transmitirse de madres infectadas a recién nacidos. Los estudios muestran ARN del VHC en el 80% de los bebés nacidos de madres con VHC positivo, lo que indica la transmisión vertical y posibles problemas de salud a largo plazo.
