Sus antecedentes:
- El sistema de salud de México se enfrentó a desafíos significativos en la protección financiera y la desigualdad social, a pesar de una alta esperanza de vida.
- Las limitaciones estructurales obstaculizaban el desempeño y el progreso del sistema nacional de salud.
- La falta de protección financiera se identificó como un importante cuello de botella en el acceso a la atención médica.
Objetivo del estudio:
- Para describir la reforma estructural del sistema de salud de México.
- Evaluar los resultados iniciales del Sistema de Protección Social en Salud (SSPH) y el Seguro Popular.
- Obtener lecciones para las transformaciones del sistema de salud internacional.
