  • Colección de lágrimas inodoras de mujeres que experimentan emociones negativas.
  • Los participantes masculinos evaluaron las caras de las mujeres para el atractivo sexual después de oler las lágrimas.
  • Los hombres proporcionaron excitación autoevaluada, medidas de excitación fisiológica y niveles de testosterona.
  • La resonancia magnética funcional (fMRI) se utilizó para evaluar la actividad cerebral.

Principales resultados:

  • Olfatear las lágrimas de las mujeres redujo la atribución de los hombres de atractivo sexual a las caras de las mujeres.
