Resumen
El virus de ARN-1 de Leishmania (LRV1) en los parásitos de Leishmania desencadena respuestas inmunes del huésped que paradójicamente empeoran la leishmaniasis mucocutánea. Este ARN viral subvierte la inmunidad, promoviendo la persistencia del parásito y la progresión de la enfermedad.
