Resumen

La proteína disulfuro isomerasa (PDI) ayuda al plegamiento de las proteínas. Nuevos métodos revelan que el PDI favorece los enlaces de disulfuro nativos en el final del plegamiento, evitando el plegamiento incorrecto y permitiendo el plegamiento oxidativo cotranslacional.
