Resumen

Se propone un nuevo mecanismo para la oxidación de monóxido de carbono (CO) en nanocúmulos de oro. Las moléculas de CO promueven su propia oxidación al debilitar los enlaces de oxígeno en los sitios triangulares de oro, formando CO2 de manera eficiente.
