  • Para investigar la función de la vía del área tegmental ventral (ATV) hacia el núcleo accumbens (NAc).

Principales métodos:

  • Desarrolló la fotometría de fibra para el registro óptico de la actividad neuronal natural.
  • Se utilizaron proyecciones definidas genéticamente y por conectividad en modelos de mamíferos.

  • Esta metodología avanza en la comprensión de los circuitos neuronales subyacentes a comportamientos complejos y trastornos neuropsiquiátricos.
