    Los investigadores informan de la primera congelación y descongelación exitosas de ovocitos humanos, lo que lleva a un embarazo de gemelos. Este avance en la criopreservación de ovocitos ofrece nuevas posibilidades para la preservación de la fertilidad.

    • Para informar de la primera congelación y descongelación exitosas de óvulos humanos.
    • Para lograr un embarazo viable después de la criopreservación de ovocitos y la fertilización in vitro.

    Principales métodos:

    • Reducción del tamaño del complejo ovocito/cumulus-oophorus.
    • Adición en una sola etapa del crioprotector dimetilsulfóxido (DMSO).
    • Refrigeración lenta con nucleación de hielo, congelación rápida a -196°C y almacenamiento de nitrógeno líquido.
