Resumen
Baricitinib en 4 mg mejoró significativamente los síntomas del lupus eritematoso sistémico en un ensayo de fase 2. Este inhibidor de Janus kinase (JAK) es prometedor como una nueva terapia oral para pacientes con lupus.

Principales resultados:
- Baricitinib 4 mg mejoró significativamente la resolución de la artritis o la erupción de SLEDAI-2K (67% frente al placebo, p=0, 0414).
- Baricitinib 2 mg mostró una tendencia a la mejora, pero no alcanzó la significación estadística (58% frente al placebo, p=0,39).
