Objetivo del estudio:

  • Para presentar una arquitectura de red cuántica escalable y multiusuario.
  • Para permitir la distribución segura de claves cuánticas a muchos usuarios desde una sola fuente.
  • Minimizar los requerimientos de recursos por usuario sin comprometer la seguridad.

Principales métodos:

  • Se diseñó una nueva arquitectura de red cuántica totalmente conectada.
  • Se utilizó una sola fuente de enredo de polarización bipartita.
  • Los fotones entrelazados se multiplicaron en 12 canales de longitud de onda para su distribución a cuatro usuarios.

Principales resultados:

  • Se demostró una red totalmente conectada con cuatro usuarios utilizando una sola fuente de entrelazamiento.
  • El sistema utilizaba la multiplexación de longitud de onda y componentes ópticos pasivos.
  • La arquitectura de la red se escala sin modificar la fuente, mejorando la seguridad y reduciendo los requisitos de confianza.

Conclusiones:

  • La arquitectura presentada demuestra un enfoque factible para redes cuánticas escalables y multiusuario.
  • Este diseño pasivo y eficiente en recursos ofrece potencial para la comunicación cuántica de alta velocidad.
  • El enfoque supera las limitaciones de los sistemas QKD de múltiples usuarios anteriores.
