La suplementación con vitamina D3 no redujo significativamente el riesgo de depresión ni mejoró las puntuaciones del estado de ánimo en adultos mayores de 50 años. Estos hallazgos sugieren que la vitamina D3 no es eficaz para prevenir la depresión en esta población.
