Resumen

El apareamiento asortativo entre rasgos (xAM) ofrece una nueva explicación de las correlaciones genéticas entre los rasgos humanos. Este patrón de apareamiento, no solo la pleiotropía, influye significativamente en la similitud de los rasgos, lo que sugiere que las estimaciones anteriores de superposición genética pueden ser sobreestimadas.
