  • La inhibición de la misma vía, o la activación de una vía diferente, condujo a un marcado aumento en el comportamiento de riesgo.

Conclusiones:

  • Las vías cerebrales específicas ejercen un control directo sobre la voluntad de participar en comportamientos de riesgo.
  • Estos hallazgos proporcionan un marco neuronal para comprender cómo el cerebro equilibra las recompensas potenciales contra las pérdidas potenciales, con implicaciones para comprender la adicción y la toma de decisiones financieras.
