La progresión de la cardiomiopatía inducida por sepsis (CIS) es impulsada por la ferroptosis mediada por DDIT4/ TXNIP, regulada por ATF4. El inhibidor ISRIB trata eficazmente la SIC al atacar el ATF4, reduciendo la ferroptosis y mejorando la función cardíaca.
