Resumen

  • Los programas de DNP en línea necesitan métodos de evaluación efectivos para la promoción de políticas.

Objetivo del estudio:

  • Desarrollar y evaluar una evaluación auténtica de las habilidades de promoción de políticas de salud de los estudiantes de DNP.
  • Mejorar la capacidad de los estudiantes de DNP para crear y defender la política de salud a través de la simulación.
  • Para cerrar la brecha entre la educación DNP y las demandas de promoción de políticas de salud en el mundo real.

Principales métodos:

  • Diseñó una simulación virtual que incorpora la creación de informes de políticas y la defensa de las partes interesadas.
  • Implementó la simulación para estudiantes de doctorado en enfermería en línea.
  • Evaluación de la adquisición de habilidades y conocimientos reportados por el estudiante después de la simulación.

Principales resultados:

  • Los estudiantes crearon con éxito informes de políticas en varios niveles gubernamentales.
  • La simulación virtual proporcionó una plataforma para practicar la defensa de las políticas con las partes interesadas.
  • Los participantes informaron de ganancias significativas en habilidades y conocimientos para la promoción de políticas de salud competentes.

Conclusiones:

  • La simulación virtual es una herramienta efectiva para enseñar la promoción de políticas de salud a los estudiantes de DNP.
  • Este método de evaluación auténtico prepara a los graduados de DNP para los desafíos políticos del mundo real.
  • El estudio pone de relieve la importancia de la formación práctica en materia de promoción en los planes de estudio del PND.
