- La N6-metiladenosina (m6A) es una modificación prevalente del ARN.

Objetivo del estudio:
- Investigar la regulación de miR-29a-3p por el homólogo de ALKB 5 (ALKBH5) en el STB.
- Elucidar el mecanismo por el cual ALKBH5 influye en la respuesta inflamatoria en la ETS.

- Análisis de muestras de tejido de pacientes con ETS y controles.
- qRT-PCR, inmunohistoquímica e inmunofluorescencia para evaluar la expresión de ALKBH5 y miR-29a-3p.

Principales resultados:
- ALKBH5 fue regulado al alza, y miR- 29a- 3p fue regulado a la baja en STB.
- ALKBH5 se dirige directamente y inhibe la maduración de miR-29a-3p a través de la modificación m6A.
- La inhibición de miR-29a-3p promovió los factores inflamatorios (TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-17A), mientras que su sobreexpresión los suprimió.
Conclusiones:
- ALKBH5 suprime la expresión de miR-29a-3p en el BTS.
- Esta supresión promueve la liberación de factores inflamatorios, contribuyendo a la patogénesis de la ETS.
- La regulación mediada por ALKBH5 de miR-29a-3p representa un objetivo terapéutico potencial para la ETS.
