Objetivo del estudio:

  • Revisar el panorama actual de los biomarcadores para la miocardiopatía séptica.
  • Identificar marcadores de diagnóstico y pronóstico prometedores para la SCM.

Principales métodos:

  • Una reseña narrativa de la literatura.
  • Búsquedas realizadas en PubMed, Scopus y EMBASE desde el inicio hasta junio de 2025.

Principales resultados:

  • Los biomarcadores tradicionales carecen de especificidad para el SCM.

  • Los paneles compuestos de biomarcadores y el monitoreo longitudinal son más informativos que las mediciones individuales.

Conclusiones:

  • El diagnóstico de SCM sigue siendo un desafío, pero la investigación de biomarcadores está avanzando.
  • La integración de biomarcadores tradicionales y nuevos con herramientas multi-ómicas y computacionales puede avanzar en la medicina de precisión para la disfunción cardíaca inducida por la sepsis.
  • La investigación futura debe centrarse en definiciones de consenso, validación prospectiva e intervenciones guiadas por biomarcadores para mejorar los resultados de los pacientes.
