Resumen

La terapia de oxígeno nasal de alto flujo (HFNO) puede mejorar la función cardíaca durante la endoscopia de sedación profunda en pacientes con enfermedad arterial coronaria (CAD). Este estudio compara el HFNO con la terapia estándar de oxígeno (SOT) para evaluar el balance de suministro y demanda de oxígeno miocárdico.

Objetivo del estudio:

  • Investigar la eficacia del HFNO para mejorar el suministro de oxígeno del miocardio durante la endoscopia gastrointestinal de sedación profunda en pacientes con EAC.
  • Comparar los efectos de la HFNO frente a la terapia estándar de oxígeno (SOT) en el equilibrio entre la oferta y la demanda de oxígeno en el miocardio, evaluado por la eficiencia del ciclo cardíaco (ECC).

Principales métodos:

  • Un ensayo controlado aleatorizado de un solo centro que involucró a 90 pacientes con CAD sometidos a endoscopia gastrointestinal de sedación profunda.
  • Los pacientes serán asignados al azar 1:1 para recibir HFNO o SOT.
  • El resultado primario es la diferencia en CCE entre los grupos HFNO y SOT durante la sedación, con resultados secundarios que incluyen la estabilidad hemodinámica y los marcadores bioquímicos.
