Los mensajes sobre el consentimiento afirmativo influyen en las opiniones morales de los estudiantes universitarios sobre la actividad sexual. La mensajería personalizada, teniendo en cuenta las normas existentes, es clave para moralizar efectivamente el consentimiento dentro de los grupos sociales.

Objetivo del estudio:

  • Investigar cómo los mensajes impactan en la moralización del consentimiento afirmativo de los estudiantes.
  • Comprender el papel del contexto en los procesos de moralización.

Principales métodos:

  • Mensajes moralistas vs informativos asignados al azar sobre el consentimiento en las entradas de las fiestas.
  • Comparación de los efectos del mensaje en los clubes sociales con y sin mensajes de consentimiento previo.
  • Análisis de las quejas de conducta administrativa sobre el impacto potencial de los mensajes de consentimiento.

Principales resultados:

  • En un club con mensajes de consentimiento previo, los mensajes moralistas aumentaron la moralización del consentimiento.
  • En un club sin mensajes previos, los mensajes informativos aumentaron la moralización del consentimiento.
  • Las pruebas débiles sugieren una pequeña reducción en las quejas de conducta tras la intervención.

Conclusiones:

  • El encuadre de mensajes y las normas sociales existentes interactúan para influir en la moralización del consentimiento afirmativo.
  • Los mensajes personalizados y específicos del contexto son cruciales para dar forma a los valores del grupo con respecto al consentimiento.
  • Los hallazgos avanzan en la comprensión de los procesos de moralización y ofrecen ideas prácticas para las intervenciones en el campus.
