  • Se necesitan protocolos POCUS estandarizados para optimizar el manejo durante las crisis de salud.

Objetivo del estudio:

  • Desarrollar un protocolo estandarizado de ultrasonido en el punto de atención (POCUS) para pacientes en estado crítico durante pandemias.
  • Para guiar a los médicos de emergencia en las estrategias de diagnóstico eficaces utilizando POCUS.
  • Establecer un consenso de expertos sobre la aplicación de POCUS en condiciones de riesgo de vida.

Principales métodos:

  • Se utilizó una encuesta Delphi modificada para lograr el consenso de expertos entre 39 especialistas en imágenes de emergencia.
  • Un comité de expertos identificó elementos esenciales de POCUS para pacientes con shock, sepsis u otras enfermedades críticas.
  • Tres rondas de comentarios y revisiones refinaron el protocolo POCUS para escenarios pandémicos.

Principales resultados:
