El alto consumo de alimentos ultraprocesados (UPF) está relacionado con la disbiosis intestinal, lo que podría aumentar el riesgo de enfermedades inflamatorias intestinales (IBD). Esta disbiosis implica una diversidad microbiana reducida y una función de barrera intestinal deteriorada, lo que contribuye a la inflamación crónica.
