Resumen

La infección por el virus del papiloma humano (HPV-hr) de alto riesgo es prevalente en las mujeres ghanesas de 60 años o más, lo que indica que el cribado de precancer cervical debe continuar para este grupo demográfico. Se necesita más investigación para refinar las estrategias de detección para las mujeres mayores, especialmente las que tienen VIH.
