Sus antecedentes:

  • La investigación transdisciplinaria integra diversos conocimientos para los desafíos sociales.

  • La integración del conocimiento es clave para el éxito transdisciplinario, pero su medición es compleja.

Objetivo del estudio:

  • Desarrollar y probar empíricamente una nueva escala para evaluar la contribución de los métodos transdisciplinarios a la integración del conocimiento.
  • Proporcionar un instrumento estandarizado para evaluar la eficacia de los enfoques transdisciplinarios.
  • Facilitar el análisis comparativo de los diferentes métodos transdisciplinarios.

Principales métodos:

  • Revisión sistemática de la literatura de 48 fuentes para sintetizar más de 300 declaraciones en 34 artículos.
  • Pruebas empíricas de elementos en talleres con 71 participantes utilizando la construcción de escenarios transdisciplinarios y el desarrollo de juegos serios.
  • Análisis exploratorio de factores para refinar la escala e identificar las dimensiones de la integración del conocimiento.

Principales resultados:

  • Desarrolló una escala refinada de 25 puntos para medir la integración del conocimiento en la investigación transdisciplinaria.
  • Se identificaron dos dimensiones clave de la integración del conocimiento: los factores socioemocionales y los cognitivos-comunicativos.
  • Utilizó con éxito la escala para comparar las contribuciones de integración del conocimiento de dos métodos transdisciplinarios distintos.

Conclusiones:

  • La escala desarrollada ofrece una mejora metodológica para medir la eficacia de la investigación transdisciplinaria.
  • La escala permite el análisis comparativo de los métodos transdisciplinarios, apoyando una selección informada.
  • Se recomienda un mayor refinamiento de la escala para mejorar su utilidad y alcance.
