Sus antecedentes:

  • El cáncer de mama con receptores de estrógeno positivos (ER +) a menudo desarrolla resistencia a la terapia endocrina (ET).
  • Las mutaciones del gen ESR1, particularmente en el dominio de unión al ligando, son una causa primaria de la resistencia adquirida.
  • La biopsia líquida permite el análisis no invasivo del ADN tumoral circulante (ctDNA) para la detección de mutaciones.

Objetivo del estudio:

  • Revisar la importancia clínica de las mutaciones de la ESR1 en la resistencia endocrina.
  • Evaluar la utilidad de la biopsia líquida para la detección temprana y el seguimiento de estas mutaciones.
  • Explorar la integración de la secuenciación avanzada y la inteligencia artificial (IA) para mejorar el diagnóstico.

Principales métodos:

Conclusiones:

  • La biopsia líquida, integrada con tecnologías avanzadas (NGS, ddPCR) y IA, mejora el manejo personalizado del cáncer de mama ER+.
  • Este enfoque puede guiar las intervenciones terapéuticas oportunas y mejorar la supervivencia a largo plazo.
  • Una mayor estandarización e integración con la biopsia de tejidos y la radiómica son cruciales para la implementación clínica.
