Sus antecedentes:

  • Las ciudades inteligentes apuntan a entornos centrados en el ser humano y basados en datos alineados con la Sociedad 5.0.
  • Los procesos de gestión del conocimiento (KM) son cruciales para la funcionalidad de la ciudad inteligente.
  • Las arquitecturas existentes enfrentan desafíos en latencia, costo y escalabilidad para KM.

Objetivo del estudio:

  • Para investigar una nueva arquitectura de nube sin servidor para los procesos de gestión de la ciudad inteligente.
  • Mejorar la capacidad de respuesta y la eficiencia de las aplicaciones de ciudades inteligentes.
  • Analizar las características, oportunidades y limitaciones de los entornos híbridos de nube de borde para KM.

Principales métodos:

  • Propuso una arquitectura híbrida que combina la nube, el borde y la computación sin servidor.
  • Nube aprovechada para escalabilidad y borde para procesamiento basado en proximidad.
  • Se ha llevado a cabo un análisis experimental para evaluar los beneficios del rendimiento.

Principales resultados:

  • Se ha demostrado una reducción de los tiempos de transmisión de datos y una reducción de la congestión de la red.
  • Se mostraron opciones de cálculo rentables dentro de la arquitectura híbrida.
  • Identificó las características clave, oportunidades y limitaciones de los entornos de borde y nube para KM.

Conclusiones:

  • La arquitectura de nube de borde sin servidor apoya efectivamente los procesos de gestión de conocimientos en ciudades inteligentes.
  • Este marco ofrece flexibilidad para el avance de los servicios basados en el conocimiento y las aplicaciones de ciudades inteligentes.
  • El manejo optimizado de datos y la reducción de la latencia son beneficios clave para la gobernanza urbana.
