El hematoma de tiroides por trauma en el cuello es raro pero grave. Este caso destaca el estrangulamiento del pañuelo que causa hematoma tiroideo en un paciente con bocio, enfatizando la necesidad de vigilancia en casos de trauma en el cuello.
