Este estudio presenta el primer conjunto de datos públicos de John

Sus antecedentes:
- La enfermedad de Johne (paratuberculosis) es una infección intestinal crónica en rumiantes causada por la subespecie Mycobacterium avium paratuberculosis (MAP).
- El diagnóstico preciso es crucial para el control, pero la histopatología tradicional tiene limitaciones que incluyen la dependencia de expertos y la variabilidad entre observadores.
- El desarrollo de herramientas de diagnóstico automatizadas requiere datos de imagen anotados de alta calidad.
Objetivo del estudio:
- Para presentar un nuevo conjunto de datos curados de imágenes histopatológicas para la enfermedad de Johne.
- Facilitar el desarrollo de modelos de diagnóstico asistido por ordenador y de aprendizaje automático para la detección de la enfermedad de Johne.
- Proporcionar un recurso educativo para la formación en patología veterinaria.
Principales métodos:

- Coloración estándar de hematoxilina y eosina (H&E) y escaneo de diapositivas digitales de alta resolución.
- Anotación de cada imagen con etiquetas de diagnóstico verificadas por un patólogo certificado por la junta.
