Las personas que viven con VIH (PLWH) presentan ritmos de sueño y actividad de descanso (RAR) retrasados, menos consolidados y menos robustos en comparación con las que no tienen VIH. Estos hallazgos sugieren posibles diferencias intrínsecas del ritmo circadiano en PLWH.

- Estos hallazgos sugieren diferencias intrínsecas en los ritmos circadianos entre los PLWH.
- Se necesita más investigación para explorar las implicaciones para la salud de estas anormalidades del sueño y el ritmo.
