  • Desarrollar declaraciones de buenas prácticas para asociaciones internacionales éticas y eficaces.
  • Establecer directrices para una investigación de cirugía global equitativa.

Principales métodos:

  • Revisión de la literatura sobre los riesgos y beneficios de la colaboración en cirugía global.
  • Desarrollo colaborativo de declaraciones de buenas prácticas.
  • Refinamiento iterativo de las declaraciones en seis temas clave.

Principales resultados:

  • Se generaron ochenta y una declaraciones de buenas prácticas.
  • Las declaraciones cubren el establecimiento de asociaciones, la dinámica de poder, la equidad de financiación, la investigación ética, el rigor científico y la planificación a largo plazo.
  • Las declaraciones abordan aspectos críticos de la cirugía global colaborativa.

Conclusiones:

  • Las declaraciones desarrolladas servirán de base para un proceso de Delphi.
  • Se establecerá un conjunto sólido de directrices para las mejores prácticas en la investigación global de cirugía colaborativa.
  • El objetivo es fomentar la investigación internacional responsable y de impacto.
