Resumen
La simulación motora no es esencial para el reconocimiento eficiente de expresiones faciales. Las personas con parálisis facial congénita demostraron un reconocimiento típico, desafiando la hipótesis de la simulación motora para la percepción emocional sin esfuerzo.
Conclusiones:
- Se puede lograr el reconocimiento sin esfuerzo de las expresiones faciales sin simulación motora.
- La simulación motora puede no ser un requisito previo para la percepción emocional eficiente.
- Este estudio proporciona evidencia en contra del papel obligatorio de la simulación motora en el reconocimiento de las expresiones faciales.
