Abstract:
In recent years, Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology has been increasingly integrated into painting, video, and interactive installation art. At the same time, empirical studies have shown that humans are biased against AI Art. However, the reasons behind this bias need to be further explored. This study collects public comment data from Weibo to examine the Chinese public's attention to AI art and the reasons for differing attitudes, based on comment content, time, and gender. Using computational social science methods, the study analyzes discussions on "AI art" through LDA topic model and sentiment analysis. The results show that the Chinese public holds slightly more negative than positive attitudes toward AI Art, primarily due to concerns over original copyright issues, homogenization of style, lack of emotion, career replacement anxiety, and the lack of artistic aura.
