Sus antecedentes:

  • La tecnología Blockchain enfrenta desafíos de escalabilidad, energía y ataques cuánticos.
  • Los sistemas convencionales (RSA, DSA, PoW, PoS) tienen una alta sobrecarga computacional.
  • Las soluciones existentes no están optimizadas para la ejecución a escala de nube.

Objetivo del estudio:

  • Presentar PQ-PoETChain, un modelo de blockchain seguro postcuántico.
  • Integrar firmas NTRU, Prueba de Tiempo Transcurrido (PoET) adaptativa en Entornos de Ejecución Confiables (TEEs) y Validación de Hash Ligera (LHV).
  • Evaluar el rendimiento y la seguridad del modelo para implementaciones nativas de la nube.

Principales métodos:

  • Se implementó PQ-PoETChain en Python.
  • Se evaluó el marco en un entorno de simulación con 50-1000 nodos.
  • Se midió el rendimiento, la latencia y el consumo de energía a través de ensayos repetidos.

Principales resultados:

  • Las firmas NTRU lograron operaciones de menos de 2 ms.
  • El PoET adaptativo redujo el retraso del consenso bajo carga.
  • Se lograron ~195 TPS con una latencia de 189±4 ms en 500 nodos.
  • Se redujo el consumo de energía hasta en un 91,8% en comparación con la Prueba de Trabajo (PoW).
  • LHV redujo el costo de verificación a través de la validación de puntero hash de tiempo constante.

Conclusiones:

  • PQ-PoETChain ofrece una combinación equilibrada de seguridad resistente a cuántica y rendimiento mejorado.
  • El modelo es adecuado para implementaciones de blockchain nativas de la nube y a gran escala.
  • Aborda los desafíos clave en la tecnología blockchain actual.
