Objetivo del estudio:

  • Desarrollar recomendaciones de políticas de salud pública accionables para la prevención de la demencia.
  • Crear un marco para la implementación de estrategias de reducción del riesgo de demencia basadas en la evidencia.
  • Abordar las inequidades estructurales y avanzar en los esfuerzos de prevención de la demencia.

Principales métodos:

  • Un panel multidisciplinario de 40 expertos participó en un taller de dos días.
  • Se utilizó una encuesta Delphi modificada en línea de tres rondas para refinar y calificar las declaraciones.
  • El consenso se definió como ≥67% de acuerdo, con calificación basada en los niveles de acuerdo.

Principales resultados:

  • Se desarrollaron 56 recomendaciones en mensajería de salud pública, intervenciones a nivel individual y poblacional, y encargo de investigación.
  • Seis declaraciones alcanzaron acuerdo unánime, enfatizando la mensajería consistente, el acceso equitativo y los enfoques sistémicos.
