Principales métodos:

  • El ensayo INTEGRITY es un ensayo controlado aleatorizado por clústeres con lista de espera en Sydney, Australia.
  • Las sesiones semanales de 2 horas involucran aproximadamente a 10 adultos mayores y 10 niños en edad preescolar durante 20 semanas.
  • Las evaluaciones de resultados incluyen habilidades físicas y cognitivas, índice de fragilidad, estado de ánimo, calidad de vida, conexiones sociales y medidas de desarrollo infantil.

Principales resultados:

  • El reclutamiento está en curso con gran interés por parte de los adultos mayores; las tasas de éxito de la selección son del 81,1%.
  • 9 de los 44 sitios planificados han completado las sesiones, con 237 adultos mayores asignados.

Conclusiones:
