Las reconstrucciones virtuales sin contraste (VNC) en tomografía computarizada de detector de recuento de fotones (PCD-CT) muestran una alta reproducibilidad para la evaluación de la calcificación de la válvula aórtica (AVC). Este método VNC ofrece una alternativa fiable a la TC verdadera sin contraste (TNC) para la evaluación de la AVC con una excelente precisión diagnóstica.
Conclusiones:
- Las reconstrucciones virtuales sin contraste (VNC) a intervalos de 3.0 mm y 1.5 mm utilizando PCD-CT proporcionan una puntuación de calcio de la válvula aórtica (AVCS) altamente reproducible.
- La VNC sirve como una alternativa fiable a la TC TNC tradicional para la evaluación de la AVC, demostrando una excelente precisión diagnóstica.
- Los hallazgos respaldan la utilidad clínica de la VNC en los protocolos de imagen cardiovascular.
