  • La Degeneración Lobular Frontotemporal (DLFT) típicamente implica disfunción ejecutiva y déficits de memoria.
  • Este caso se presenta con parkinsonismo atípico, que incluye lentitud de la marcha y habla repetitiva.
  • Las consideraciones iniciales incluyeron afecciones tratables como el síndrome paraneoplásico o Parkinson Plus.

Objetivo del estudio:

  • Informar un caso de DLFT con características parkinsonianas prominentes.
  • Ilustrar la utilidad diagnóstica de la PET CT en tales presentaciones.

Principales métodos:

  • Se evaluó a un paciente varón de 60 años con un historial de un año de síntomas motores y conductuales progresivos.
  • El examen clínico reveló signos extrapiramidales y anomalías características del habla.
  • El estudio diagnóstico incluyó perfilado autoinmune y paraneoplásico, junto con imágenes PET CT.
