Objetivo del estudio:

  • Investigar si la variabilidad cognitiva se agrupa en dominios cognitivos distintos.; Identificar las tareas cognitivas más sensibles a los predictores diarios y a los resultados del mundo real.; Proporcionar un conjunto de tareas cognitivas adecuadas para HFCA.

Principales métodos:

  • Análisis de datos de tres estudios de HFCA (ARC, Cognitive Dynamics, CVB) y el estudio COGITO.; Examen de la agrupación de la variabilidad cognitiva y su correlación con predictores diarios (p. ej., estrés).; Integración del estudio ARC con un estudio de conducción (DRIVES) para evaluar las implicaciones funcionales en el comportamiento de conducción.

Principales resultados:

  • La variabilidad en tareas de memoria episódica y velocidad de procesamiento estuvo altamente correlacionada, mientras que la variabilidad de la memoria de trabajo fue situacional.; La variabilidad de la memoria episódica se correlacionó con la inteligencia general.; El pobre rendimiento cognitivo diario se relacionó con un mayor riesgo de eventos adversos en la conducción.

Conclusiones:
