Objetivo del estudio:

  • Describir la eficacia y seguridad de lecanemab en pacientes con EA temprana.
  • Examinar los cambios dinámicos en los biomarcadores en sangre.
  • Evaluar lecanemab en una población del sudeste de China.

Principales métodos:

  • Estudio de cohorte prospectivo en diez centros del sudeste de China.
  • 200 pacientes con EA temprana diagnosticados según los criterios NIA-AA y PET AV45.
  • Se evaluaron escalas cognitivas, se recolectaron muestras de sangre, resonancia magnética y exploraciones PET en múltiples momentos.
  • Se registraron reacciones adversas, incluidas reacciones a la infusión y ARIA.

Principales resultados:

  • 118 participantes completaron tres meses de tratamiento con lecanemab.
  • Se informaron reacciones leves a la infusión (23) y ARIA (10).
  • 2 pacientes detuvieron el tratamiento.
  • Las características iniciales incluyeron edad (60-79 años), educación, estado de APOE4, MMSE y puntuaciones CDR.

Conclusiones:
