Resumen

La beta-sinucleína sérica muestra promesa como biomarcador sanguíneo para la detección temprana de la enfermedad de Alzheimer (EA). Los niveles elevados se correlacionan con el deterioro cognitivo y la neurodegeneración, ofreciendo una herramienta de diagnóstico mínimamente invasiva.

Conclusiones:

  • La β-sinucleína sérica es un biomarcador prometedor para la detección temprana de la enfermedad de Alzheimer.
  • Su asociación con la progresión de la enfermedad y su naturaleza mínimamente invasiva respaldan su potencial para el diagnóstico y seguimiento tempranos.
  • La investigación adicional puede validar la β-sinucleína sérica para la aplicación clínica en el manejo de la EA.
