Sus antecedentes:

  • La trombosis venosa cerebral (TVC) es una afección grave que puede provocar accidentes cerebrovasculares.; La presentación clínica de la TVC a menudo imita el accidente cerebrovascular isquémico, siendo el dolor de cabeza un síntoma común.; Los factores de riesgo para la TVC incluyen el embarazo, las coagulopatías, las enfermedades autoinmunes y las infecciones.

Objetivo del estudio:

  • Presentar un caso clínico de un paciente con trombofilia.; Ilustrar el desarrollo de trombosis del seno transverso izquierdo en este paciente.

Principales métodos:

  • Presentación de un informe de caso.; Revisión de la historia clínica del paciente y los hallazgos diagnósticos relacionados con la trombofilia y la trombosis del seno.

Principales resultados:

  • El paciente presentó síntomas compatibles con trombosis venosa cerebral.; La evaluación diagnóstica confirmó la trombosis del seno transverso izquierdo.; Se identificó la trombofilia subyacente del paciente como un factor contribuyente significativo.

Conclusiones:
