Sus antecedentes:

  • La escucha activa empática es crucial para la comunicación terapéutica y la atención centrada en la persona en enfermería.; Implica conciencia emocional y compromiso cognitivo, habilidades desarrolladas a través de una educación de enfermería de calidad.; La escucha eficaz mejora la calidad general de la atención al paciente proporcionada por las enfermeras.

Objetivo del estudio:

  • Validar y adaptar la Escala de Escucha Activa Empática (AELS) para su uso en Turquía, creando la AELS-TR.; Evaluar la fiabilidad y validez de la versión turca de la AELS dentro de la población de estudiantes de enfermería turcos.

Principales métodos:

  • Un estudio descriptivo transversal que involucró a 405 estudiantes de la facultad de enfermería.; Datos recopilados a través de encuestas en línea, incluida la AELS, un formulario descriptivo y la Escala de Habilidades de Comunicación.; Se estableció la validez del lenguaje y el contenido, seguida de un Análisis Factorial Confirmatorio (AFC) y análisis de fiabilidad (correlación ítem-total, alfa de Cronbach).

Principales resultados:

  • La AELS-TR logró un índice de validez de contenido de 1,00.; El AFE indicó un excelente ajuste del modelo (χ²/SD = 1,78, CFI = 0,97, GFI = 0,96).; La fiabilidad se confirmó con un alfa de Cronbach de 0,86 y una fiabilidad test-retest (r=0,717).

Conclusiones:

  • La AELS-TR es un instrumento psicométricamente sólido para evaluar las habilidades de escucha de los estudiantes de enfermería turcos.; Esta escala validada puede utilizarse eficazmente en la educación de enfermería para mejorar las competencias de comunicación.; Los hallazgos respaldan la utilidad de la AELS-TR para mejorar la calidad de la atención al paciente a través de mejores habilidades de escucha.
