Líquidos iónicos próticos hidrofóbicos recién sintetizados muestran potencial para la captura de CO2, ofreciendo alta capacidad y selectividad sobre el metano. Estos líquidos iónicos demuestran buena reciclabilidad, abordando las limitaciones de los disolventes convencionales a base de aminas.
