Resumen
Esta revisión sistemática examina los microARNs (miARN) en coinfecciones por malaria y arbovirus, como el virus del Dengue (DENV), el virus de la chikungunya (CHIKV) y el virus Zika (ZIKV). Los hallazgos iluminarán los mecanismos de la enfermedad e identificarán biomarcadores para diagnóstico y terapéutica.
Conclusiones:
- Los hallazgos avanzarán la comprensión de la patogénesis de la coinfección.
- Los perfiles de miARN identificados pueden servir de base para nuevos enfoques terapéuticos, incluidos sistemas de administración basados en nanopartículas.
- Establece una base para futuros estudios de validación funcional de miARNs de origen vegetal.
