Este estudio desarrolló un novedoso fotocatalizador compuesto al unir un fotosensibilizador y un catalizador a la tierra de diatomeas. Este nuevo material demuestra una mayor reactividad y reciclabilidad para reacciones eficientes de evolución de oxígeno.
Conclusiones:
- El novedoso compuesto PS/Cat@DE es un fotocatalizador eficiente y reciclable.
- La tierra de diatomeas mejora el rendimiento fotocatalítico para la evolución de oxígeno.
- Este enfoque ofrece una estrategia prometedora para el desarrollo de catalizadores heterogéneos avanzados.
