Una variante común del gen BRCA1, c.4787C>A, es recurrente en familias de Catar y está relacionada con el cáncer de mama triple negativo de aparición temprana. La detección temprana de esta variante del síndrome de cáncer de mama y ovario hereditario mejora la supervivencia y guía el tratamiento personalizado.
