Sus antecedentes:

  • La fibrilación auricular (FA) persistente de larga data presenta un importante desafío para la salud, a menudo resistiendo los tratamientos convencionales.
  • La ablación híbrida, que combina técnicas quirúrgicas y de catéter, ofrece una solución para casos complejos de FA.
  • Existen datos limitados sobre la efectividad a largo plazo de las estrategias de ablación híbrida inmediata frente a la escalonada y el papel de la ablación del haz de Bachmann (BB).

Conclusiones:

  • La ablación híbrida demuestra un control rítmico duradero y seguridad para la FA persistente.
  • La ablación del haz de Bachmann (BB) mejora el éxito del procedimiento y debe considerarse.
  • La ablación híbrida inmediata puede ser beneficiosa para pacientes seleccionados, reduciendo potencialmente la utilización de la atención sanitaria.
