MECOM/EVI1 impulsa la progresión del cáncer de próstata al coactivar la señalización no canónica del receptor de andrógenos. La sobreexpresión de MECOM predice la sensibilidad a inhibidores de PARP, ampliando las opciones de tratamiento para el cáncer de próstata resistente a la castración.
