Objetivo del estudio:

  • Evaluar los patrones de prescripción de tramadol durante un año.
  • Comparar las recetas de tramadol con la prescripción general de opioides dentro de un sistema de salud universitario.

Principales métodos:

  • Revisión retrospectiva de datos de registros médicos electrónicos (RME) del 1 de enero de 2024 al 31 de diciembre de 2024.
  • Cuantificación de las recetas trimestrales de tramadol.
  • Comparación de las recetas de tramadol con las recetas totales de opioides.

Principales resultados:

  • Se emitieron un total de 17.660 recetas de tramadol en 2024.
  • El tramadol representó el 25,9% de las 68.212 recetas totales de opioides.
  • La prescripción mostró estabilidad a lo largo de los trimestres, con un ligero aumento en el cuarto trimestre.

Conclusiones:

  • El tramadol representó más del 25% de todas las recetas de opioides en el centro médico académico.
